Parking Battle: Tesla Owner Accuses Woman of Crossing the Line (2026)

A Denver woman's video describing a parking spat she had with a Tesla driver has gone viral, amassing over 140,000 views since she uploaded it to TikTok on December 3rd. In the profanity-laced video, Morgan Roos (@morganroos96) recounts the incident, where a Tesla driver falsely accused her of parking incorrectly.

"I just got cussed out by the guy that parks next to me, right? Another [expletive] Tesla owner, [expletive] my life," she begins. Roos explains that she had just purchased a new car, a white Jeep, and the Tesla driver was upset because her car was parked within the lines of its spot, with a bit of negative space. He claimed she was 'riding the line' and threatened to report her to the HOA.

"And I was like, 'The [expletive] are you talking about? I’m in my [expletive] line, I’m in the lines!'" she says, demonstrating that her car is parked legally. She then pans to the Tesla, which is clearly parked across the lines of its own spot.

"And so I literally barked back. I was like, 'Dude, I’m parked in my lines. Yeah, maybe I rode the line a little close, but I’m in my [expletive] lines.'" Roos stands her ground, refusing to back down. The Tesla driver, however, refused to admit his mistake, instead taking issue with Roos' tone.

"He’s like, 'Don’t talk back to me, little miss.’ Little miss? Is this building a [expletive] joke?" she says, mocking his response. Commenters on her video were quick to support Roos, suggesting ways to get back at the Tesla owner, such as calling a tow truck for taking more than one space. Some also pointed out that the Tesla driver might have been recording Roos' complaint, adding to the humor of the situation.

This incident has sparked a broader conversation about Tesla drivers and their behavior on the road. Some commenters shared negative experiences they've had with Tesla owners, suggesting a correlation between poor driving habits and rude road manners. Statistical data from the Chain, Cohn, and Clark law firm supports this, highlighting Tesla, Ram, and Subaru drivers as having the highest rates of driving incidents.

The InsideEVs team has reached out to Roos for further information and is inviting readers to share their opinions on what they'd like to see on the website. The survey is open for those interested in contributing.
